Chelsea defender Jeffrey Bruma is a wanted man as Hamburg sporting director Frank Arnesen is planning talks with the blues which will see the defender move to Germany on a permanent basis.
The 21-year-old has been on-loan there for a while and has since gone on to be capped by Holland but has made only 10 appearances for Chelsea’s first team.
As quoted in the Evening Standard Arnesen said: “Bruma has been playing very well, I like everything about him, he is composed, good in the air. All in all, I am very satisfied with his play.”
Although the lad has great ability, he will never really be given the opportunity to prove himself here and the move would probably be best for him and his career.
And considering we have twenty-two players out on loan, there would probably be no room even if he did make a move back to London to try and force his way back into the set-up here at Stamford Bridge.
So Hamburg can have him for the foreseeable future as many have forgotten that he is even a blues player.
