Chelsea get boost on £50 million chase?

Manchester City chief executive Ferran Soriano has ruled out a move for Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao, which will give the Chelsea hierarchy a massive boost.

It is no secret that he is our number one target and have been on his trail for some time, and after he hit a hat-trick against us in the super Cup in August, we want him even more.

However, it has become a game of will he or wont he as there have been so many reports about where he will end up in the summer window.

But Chelsea are finally feeling confident about bringing him to Stamford Bridge for next season after City pulled out of the race and gave them a clear run at nailing down his services according to reports on the TalkSport website.

As quoted on the TalkSport Soriano said: “Neymar and Falcao? [These reports are] false, they have never been on our agenda.”

He would cost us a massive fee and a massive wage, but he is seen as the best number nine on the planet and there isn’t a club out there that wouldn’t love him in the squad.

Please forget about falcao i’d prefer we put our focus on yilmaz, schurrle and our players on loan

  • Though Chelsea needs a hot striker at the moment but not a striker that will nearly empty our purse we can go for lewandosky and andre from leverkusen and lukaku is there for us. Gomez is also available

  • i think facao is very needed 2 avoid complaining of finisher next season

I fik facoa is very needed 2 avoid complaining of finisher next season.

Chelsea Lack sharpness and strength in attack;its so important to have a player in the mould of Falcao even if it will cost us 50million pounds to have him, again if Dortmond and Bremen are highly interested Kevin De Bruyn whiles we go about chasing players who are not better than those we’ve loaned out then we do not have our objectives right, We do not even monitor their progress. Lets bring them back, Falcao’s performance can inspire the team to emulate his star performance; and with Jose coming back; We will have the strong Chelsea we are yearning for; a team that can beat the world.
