Chelsea have been linked with a host of players recently and are continuously in the headlines for it. But their most recent link Marouane Fellaini has come out and stated that he wishes to leave the Merseyside club, with the blues leading the chase for the big Belgian.
Fellaini is not the sort of player you would associate with the price tag on his head, but that is the way of football these days and if you want quality footballers at your club, then you have to be willing to pay top money for them.
He has proven himself in the League and has caused problems to many defenders this term, so would he be a good addition to the club?
The answer is yes, I believe that he would thrive at Chelsea and could quite possibly be the target man that we need.
Big, powerful, strong and technically good, he has been in great form this season for Everton and has helped them into fourth spot with his fine displays.
He may not be the big name that everybody wants, but being only 24-years-old, he has time to improve and turn into a great player.
The price may be a bit extreme and I doubt that Chelsea will pay that much, but get him for around £20/25 million and we could have a good new addition to the club either in January or the summer.
